A practical Hackintosh install flow without a Mac:

  • Image: macOS-iso-builder on GitHub Actions to fetch and build a bootable installer
  • USB: Rufus to write the DMG and create the install drive
  • EFI: OpCore-Simplify to generate an OpenCore EFI for your hardware (automated; you pick OS version and GPU)
  • USB map: USBToolBox/tool to map ports and generate a USB Map kext, then replace the default USB files in EFI
  • Config: ProperTree or OCAT to mount EFI and edit config.plist if needed

AMD RX 6000+ users: NootRX for dGPU support.
